THE SHARON OSBOURNE SHOW |
|

The Osbourne’s haven’t been strangers to the spotlight over the last few years. With their hugely popular reality TV show, Ozzy and Sharon's children, Jack and Kelly, started making names for themselves. But it seems that managing Ozzy’s tours, appearing on a reality show, and being the matriarch to this household wasn't enough for Sharon. She now has her own talk show.
Now, I usually don't think that highly of most talk shows. Their hosts are usually a little too sensitive and PC. Some lack a sense of humor, others have guests that can put you to sleep by the time they spit out their second sentence. But, The Sharon Osbourne Show isn’t like most talk shows. Sharon seems more concerned that the show gets her message out to her audience and that they have a good time. She accomplishes that goal with seeming little effort. From the start of the show, you feel like you are at a rock concert. The audience is screaming and cheering. They have poster, signs, and other Osbourne merchandise. Sharon acknowledges people in the crowd then has a seat on the table. She starts off by telling everyone a little about what’s been going on in her life, funny stories, a gripe she has, or about the gifts she has received from fans. Sharon then goes on to tell about her guests appearing on the show.
Her guests are always fun to watch. They range from movie stars to writers, TV hosts to expert cup stackers. I haven’t seen a guest that hasn’t enjoyed being on her show. Sharon sits down on her couch with them and they talk about everything from what’s going on in life to the newest gig they have. They sit and talk like old friends about any old thing they think of. Going on tangents about something that happened at a supermarket is not unheard of, and it’s always entertaining. Often, it’s hard to tell who’s more excited, Sharon or her guests. Many guests are fans of hers and are almost giddy to be on the show.
I have to say, this is a great show. There’s always something different and it’s always a good time. Sharon is very appreciative of all that life has given her and it shows. You can catch Sharon on the WB. Osbourne fan or not, people of all ages can, and do, enjoy watching Sharon.
