Biography:

Sell Yourself (Tell us what makes you unique): Hmm I find myself unique because of my drive or perhaps passion for things. I really have dreams with this magazine as well as my life in general. I'm not scared to identify them and go after them. Life's short. I feel it's definitely full of rewarding opportunities awaiting you if you work diligently to pursue them. As for me, you could say I'm a very "blonde" girl since I'm so clumsy and end up doing silly things accidently. I love to have a fun and have long conversations with people I enjoy being around (hence the reason I think my interviews end up being long..). I'm intelligent, caring, compassionate, creative, and have a great sense of humor (if you couldn't tell from all my favorite movie listings). But, all in all I'm really simple too. I'm looking forward to having a great family as much as I am looking forward to making this mag a success.

Why'd you choose to do journalism?: My parents made me (laughs) Nah..I'd say back in the 8th grade or so I met a wonderful lady on here that was doing something a lot like this and she started a zine on here. I joined her zine. I fell in love with writing about everything imaginable so I stayed with that for about 5 years until college came around. Then, I had to get knee surgery so I had to put college off for a year so I started my own zine which is what you're visiting right now. It's part of me now. I'm going to study Journalism at ASU so hopefully I'll have a career as a publicist for an independent pr firm or record label or I'll continue to do this magazine for a living.

What made you choose The Media Fix?: There wasn't much of a choice involved but I can honestly say I feel much better about this magazine's potential then the last. I'm much more open about creative features, the artists we feature, etc. I'm willing to let this be an open project in terms of creativity which I think is what makes the mag enjoyable for all.

What are some of your long term dreams?: Having a family is my number one. I don't think there's anything as rewarding as that. But career wise...the publicist or magazine editor..either of those would be dream jobs for me.

What was your favorite celebrity encounter?: Not sure..It's either the time that AJ from the Backstreet Boys walked in during my interview with Krystal or when I met Chili from TLC at an Usher concert. I need to meet more celebs.
